Climate change impacts nature and plant growth. Research on climate hedges contributes to global climate and nature research. Observations on the hedges (leaf growth, blossoms, fruit) are used to investigate how temperature, sunshine duration, and precipitation interact, what interactions exist, and what causes growth differences at different locations. There's no need to buy expensive measuring equipment for this. With this project, we demonstrate how easy it is with the help of a climate hedge. The climate hedge, which will be available on the school grounds for the long term, establishes a sustainable scientific focus. In this project, students become climate and biodiversity researchers, and the school is conducting pioneering work in climate and nature research.
