Located directly next to the Ötscher-Basis Nature Park Center, the Ötscher Tower towers over the landscape. Due to positive developments in nature education and the growing demand for nature and environmental education programs, the need arose to create more space for this. The disused climbing tower at the Ötscher-Basis was thus breathed new life into. Under the motto "Look-Ask-Research," the Ötscher Tower, designed and renovated by architects Johanna Digruber and Christian Fröhlich of "harddecor," now offers nature education on three levels. From a roof terrace to a tower room and a fully equipped workshop, the tower offers new perspectives in nature education. This allows for a change of perspective and a deeper immersion in nature. Visitors can view the nature park from above, ask questions and search for answers together, and explore the meadows and waters surrounding the tower. In the nature workshop, visitors can create unique objects and explore their creativity. The Ötscher Tower transforms everyday school life into an exciting adventure, transforming it into a nature experience instead of a classroom. The tower's panoramic room is used for events and workshops. The tower can be rented for events.
